Fantastic location near the Hoam Kiem lake, at weekends the streets around the lake are closed to traffic making it so much easier to walk and breath fresher air ( which is an issue in the whole Old Quarter area due to traffic pollution ). Had a room on 7th floor with the view of the lake, the room was quite big and the bed was very comfortable ( in fact probably the best in all the hotels we stayed in Vietnam including a 5* resort in Phu Qouc island ), we had initially some small issues with the room but the problems were corrected by the staff immediately which we appreciated greatly. In fact all the reviews rating the hotel staff very highly are so true, we were very impressed by the friendliness, helpfulness and attentiveness of all staff and Sandy, the Manager in particular ! Breakfast was good with plenty of choice for all tastes.

The hotel was really well located, so close to the hotel and central to all the main spots. it was very clean and breakfast was fantastic - simple but the quality of food was superb (bread, fruit, cheese, etc.), the best hotel breakfast across all the hotels we stayed in, in Vietnam. The staff were SO helpful and accommodating and really went out of their way to help us out, answer our questions and make us feel welcome. I arrived sick and they really took care of me! I would def (and will) recommend this hotel to my friends.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. Sandy, the manager, is a gem! She greets you with a warm and genuine smile, making you feel right at home. The hotel itself is spotless, with clean and comfortable rooms.

They upgraded our room to a suite- it was large & modern with a private balcony. It was always cleaned well with many toiletries available.
